Guild of Shadow Weavers
Beginning as a small ring of thieving arcanists operating out of Kyro, their patronage under the Empress Juliana IV to maintain the secret of the Denarii Crisis led to the guild expanding rapidly. By the time of the Ascension War, they had become the de-facto imperial intelligence agency and the largest criminal syndicate on the continent. The destruction of their headquarters during the Twin Battles and the fall of the Metilias crippled the guild, and for centuries since they languished in obscurity. Recently, however, an informal alliance with the Chantry Obscura and the city of Makaris has led to their return to underworld power, battling for influence anew with the Bechtel Cartel and the Auric Consortium.
