A Man's Burden

Purpose / Function

An open air blacksmith who displays and sells exotic weapons, made using blueprints gathered from across the land.

Design

The whole of the shop is a half-circle with a couple of rows of weapons under the draping fabric roof. Made to accommodate Eratos's large build the roof is quite high compared to many of the other buildings of Fallwen with only the Salty Maiden coming close in height.

Architecture

Eratos set up the shop towards the end of the port taking large fabrics from around the world and created a half-circle tent above his wares. In the back of the blacksmith behind the driftwood counter, Eratos has set up a massive forging space where he works most of the day unless a customer passes through.

History

When Erato found himself in Fallwen after a failed attempt at being a sailor he decided to pursue his true passion of forging, After purchasing the shop from a failing blacksmith Eratos began collecting a variety of blueprints from around the world. He challenged himself to produce these exotic weapons and sell them to those traveling through the port town.

Tourism

While mostly known to those traveling through Fallwen A Man's Burden has slowly been making a name for itself and a few have traveled to Fallwen simply to purchase or commission a custom weapon.
