The Peak Walker Species in Aserere | World Anvil

The Peak Walker

I've seen it! I've seen it at a distance! I was resting at a foothill village When there was a clammer around the people to hurriedly put out cook fires and begin to burn foul smell sacks of herbs and resin. It was such a sudden change in energy, I struggled to get someone's attention to explain what was the matter. Finally, a young lady with her hand over her mouth, pointed to a peak maybe 30 miles away. Squinting, I stared unsure. Then it moved - a whole PEAK moved! No sound was made as it seemed to shift or slide away into obscurity. I didn't even notice that I had wet myself.

A goat like mega beast, The Peak Walker makes no sounds as it mills and wanders the swirling winds of the mountain tops. Omnivorous, consuming any organic matter, and sometimes inorganic matter, it can access, it's large eyes glow with an eerie blue light in the dark.
