Lupins

Wolfkin, one of the names people call them. They do not have magic coursing through their people like the Keltori people. They can resist magic pretty well. With their presence they can intimate people. They are loyal to their own. Not to say Lupins cannot swear loyalty to a kingdom or country. they can and when they do it is Serious to them. They swear it by cutting themselves and spilling a few drops to the ground. this act is a serious to them as finding a mate. When they find a mate, they will Never leave their mate.

Heritage talents:

  • Beastly Endurance- (do not pick this as Distinction.) This talent give bonus to life pool as well allows them to keep running, swimming, climbing, etc. to any test that pushes the physical body to exhaustion. Bonus die on these tests in the total challenge.
  • Beastly Attack- This talent is all out attack! this talent allows the Lupin to hit twice in every attack. But in the scene, they have a defense of 8. No defensive roll.
  • Loyal Fighter- The lupin who has sworn in blood their legion to will never release secrets or is willing to die for their kingdom, etc. In combat they will always fight alongside. (Next to a chosen party member.) Gaining them bonus die to their defensive roll and to their attack rolls.
  • Magi Resistance- Naturally resistant to spells. (If taken as a Distinction add the d8 to resistance total. If there are already two dice, there add this d8.) If not a distinction than the caster has to first beast the die level before the spell tries to mess with you mind or body. (This only works for spells that effect the mind of the lupin or try to control spell. Fireball is an Area of affect. this does not affect those spells.)
  • Wolf Senses- uses the primal instinct to track enemies or people missing. Adds talent die to notice skill when the lupin is sniffing out the target. A complication is here, Wolf's Bane makes Lupins crazy and unable to use the nose to track. during three scenes.

Basic Information

Anatomy

They look like Wolf people. the two types of Lupins are small and large Lupins. Small Lupins look like small brown wolf people. Large wolf Lupin looks like grey wolves or black wolves. Some studies have shown that Lupins and Kobolds are related.

Genetics and Reproduction

Like ALL beast folk they can only breed with their own kind. In other words, any beast-folk mating with elves, human, or other races outside of beast-folk will NOT produce any offspring. Kobolds produce other kobolds. Lupin produce other Lupins etc.

Growth Rate & Stages

The age like humans. Like ALL beast folk. They have a life span of 22 years up to thirty years.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Mostly meat with very little vegetables. They do eat their foes unlike the kobolds which will not. if the Lupin finds their foe worthy.
