The Elders of the Village Nipan

5 of the oldest of Nipan have taken the responsibility of leading the whole village after the last chief died.
These are

Before the council led Nipan, the village was governed by a clan of Catfolk, the Tigres family. Growing population of Nipan, however, led to internal conflict which ultimaltely resulted in the assassiation of the current leader, Pride Tigres. His family subsequently fled towards Alt'Ena and started a new life there leaving a power vacuum that was filled by the 5 elders due to necessity.
While Elorin Clawheart is trying to find a new chief for the village, the others are content being in their leading role with Maelis Sunfur having a more neutral stance. These discussions of the elders ususally center around the influence Nipan has on the other catfolk villages in the Jerulian Jungles. Nipan always had a more powerful position among the catfolk, being a centre of the local culture and exchange haven for many merchants.
