Tanuki

Tanuki are Canine-kin that are usually living in close-knit communities. In their land of origin this led to several mostly isolated Tanuki villages. But recently Tanuki communities appeared in bigger cities around the world. For example, a group of Tanukis appear to have made their home in Alt'Ena.
Personality: Tanuki embody the playfullness and ability to take on many forms of the Canine-kin in an seldom seen extreme. Some scholars say because of this trait that Tanukis lack in other personality types, that make them generally rather meek. But recently some individuals have proven this to be a wrong assessment. Whether these remain the exception in history remains to be seen.
Abilities Similar to Kitsune, Tanuki have the ability to shapeshift but are more clumsy in their execution since they have much bigger pool of possible form to attain. Most Tanuki have inperfect and seemingly unpractised shapeshifting due to the variety of forms they can take on, which they traditionally disguise with natural objects like large leaves.
