Godric Kador (God-rick Kay-door)
The one who would become the most powerful Lord Usurper came from humble beginnings. He was born without the The Black Blessing. This had never been heard of before and he was shunned. His father killed himself for what he had brought into the world and his mother blamed him for his death. She hit him, constantly struck him down with words as sharp as daggers, all without rest. He was strong and so he took the beatings without objection. Until one day he didn't. He left his home in Strauset as he left behind the bloodied mess that was his tormentor. He was 17 at the time.
He left for the military, creating a new identity and never letting anyone know of his irregularity. Although young, he quickly rose through the ranks and by the age of 21 he had made General. It was here that he met two others. Wulfwen Galus and Herward Shinum. They became good friends and they progressed from the very bottom of each of their pits of despair. Godric also discovered that none of them had The Black Blessing either. Together, they decided they were destined for greatness.
It was when he was 27 that Godric took action. He was tired of the Gods' tyranny, their enslavement of the human race. At this point in time, they had become weaker than they had been at the dawn of creation. They were lazy, careless and they underestimated mankind. The three friends had not only gained fame through rank but also through skill and charisma. Using this they took 1 year to prepare for war against their rulers, all in secret from the Gods. All 50 million men and women that followed them had The Black Blessing removed. Then they struck.
For a 7 year campaign they fought in a war of attrition. Using Surprise tactics and guerrilla warfare they slowly eliminated the Gods, one by one until they reached Odar, the Supreme God of Light. He had become a shadow of his former self over time, as a candle slowly melts from a shining beacon into a pathetic blob of wax. He was executed by Godric's own hand. And so a new era began. The Era of Man.
For 20 years the three of them ruled as human. Godric took up Borugham Citadel At first they were benevolent heroes of legend, on the side of the people, their people. But that did not stay. They became corrupted by their newfound power as all do. For Godric, laws became stricter and enforcement harsher. When the people resisted, Godric became angered by them and ordered a mass killing in the streets as a message. It was known as the Night of Oppression. Godric even became paranoid of his brother and sister in arms, thinking they would try to take his mantle. It was this dark path that lead to his death. A huge mob including guards stormed his home and beat him to death.
However a week, passed and his body rose again. It twisted and writhed into an inhuman form of corruption. And then the city was slaughtered. All who died that day were brought back from the edge of doom and now serve under him as mindless forces of evil. Similar things had happened to the other Usurper Lords. Now they oppose each other and have done so for the last 2 centuries. He had become the very thing he hoped to destroy.
