Mrakvallìn
The Mrakvallìn or the Dark Elves or simply 'Drow' are a subspecies of the Elvallìn. They live mostly underground in self-made cities in dark caves and chasms. The Mrakvallìn try to avoid sunlight since they get easily burned by it. They hate the Upper World as they call it and want to dominate everyone in Arthenos, but most of all the Altvallìn who they see as betrayers to the Elven race.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Same as the Elvallìn, only their skin is pale, purple-ish, from getting no sunlight.
Ecology and Habitats
They live in underground cities made by them. They live at the darkest places, could also be in Upper World if there is enough shadow where they can hide in.
Dietary Needs and Habits
The Mrakvallìn love meat. They still eat it in a fashionable manner, but they mostly live on it. Crops need sunlight and they'll mostly only eat food from crops when they are raiding in the Upper World.

They have a superior sight in the dark. They can see as far as 120ft in the piercing dark.

History
The Mrakvallìn were once Elves like any other. They lived in cities of their own in the Upper World. But at a certain time a conflict arose between the Altvallìn and the Mrakvallìn when they were debating about wether to live with or rule over the other creatures. The Mrakvallìn believed that they should rule over the other creatures as they obviously were the most intelligent, most beautiful and most qualified to rule over the other beings. They were led by Ondolomar Unduliën but were ultimately defeated and they retreated underground where they built new cities and planned their next attack on the Upper World. Because of indulging in shadow magic their skin turned purplish pale.
