Devils...An ancient race which is almost as old as time itself. My kind of always been at odds with them but they used to never come to the mortal realm. Until recently anyway. A while after the Shadow Portal opened they started to infest the mortal realm.Devils hate mortals and seemed obsessed with destroying anything the mortals make sewing chaos and discord wherever they can while furthering their own lust for power.
The devil leaders each seemed to be focusing on various spots in the mortal realm to maximize their influence. They have even found a way to corrupt mortals. They started to use their power to make deals with mortals...dark deals where said mortal gains power but becomes bound to the devil in question slowly becoming more and more of a slave of their new devil master and changing appearance to reflect this. I have not been able to figure out why the Devil's are creating all this chaos in the mortal realm or why they are corrupting mortals...They were always evil but they are also lawful by nature and used to stay clear of the mortal realm. I must find what has brought this change in them. I have a few ideas already but I won't know for sure till I can get my hands on one of their leaders...A dangerous task. However I know where I will eventfully get the opportunity to do so.
Devil Society has three major Factors. 1 is that they prize the old natural order and try to restore it to how it was before the mortals messed it up. 2 is that most crave power. 3 is that most are evil. It's because of this that the leaders of the Devils are the most powerful among them known as the Devil Lords. Most of the devil lords have begun to operate in the mortal realm. However it's rumored there is one more powerful then them that hasn't. For what ever reason the being known as the Devil Queen has not only never been to the mortal realm. She hasn't even interfered with it to any capacity. Why would she not but the lords have? Does this mean this devil queen doesn't exist? or does it mean something else?
