Personal history
Blade was born in Bayvale, his original name was Sharp Sickle which Cuts, he spent most of his time as a child helping with the chores on the farm his family worked on being as much of help a child can do, he remembers cart rides with his father, climbing trees with cousins, sneaking bites of food past his mother. The farm wasn't much important as he remembers it being, not sure if it's still there but he remembers running through grassy fields and fallig petals as a child.
As he became a teenager the farm was not doing so well, it was under sabotage by a rivalling farm which salted the earth really, meaning his family would be out of a job and with lack of funs came difficulties, the times between meals got longer and longer, even he had to work at a young age to try and get more money in but it was barely enough. Sadly family members either moved away or didnt make it through cold winters or illness, when he reached 18 Blade left for Purgatory and signed up for the military to hopefully get money toward what little family he had left, he changed his name when he enrolled to help give himself more respect and intimidation, if you call him by his old name he might not even answer you now.
He was mentored by a full blooded Orc who went by Alligator, it was a mocking name at first but it stuck hard. He was a very brutal and harsh man but loyal to a fault to those he had in his charge and would go out of his way to help them in combat, Alligator fell in battle to which Blade inherited his longsword and keeps it in the best condition he can do. When Blade was in his mid-20s he met a tabaxi woman, Careless Whispers in the Night, she was a lady of the night who Blade formed a close bond with where before Blade left for a long campaign they spent the night together, when Blade came back he saw a rather pregnant Night awaiting him.
He didn't marry Night but welcomed their son, Shining Lantern in the Darkness. When Lantern was a young child, Night got into a wrong crowd and was quick to the substance abuse to which Blade refused her to see their child while in her state, so she packed up and left with the crowd to which Blade doesnt care where. Blade did his best to be a father and work to keep a hot meal on the table for his son, doing what he could when he could.
He was content on where he was with his son, he would go work, come back be with his son until it was needed to go again but things chanced when he returned seeing his house in flames as well as the body of his son. He turned into a workaholic in order to keep his mind of his own grief but even that caught to him, especially when he became a paladin with a goal to find the one who did kill his son and put a sword through his throat. So he worked where he could get paid in coin or information, meeting Yorissa to be a duo as well.
He was in Teyrnas Seren after doing a simple escort job with Yorissa, nothing very eventful happened during the job and ended up at the sunken treasure for some drinks, till his highness showed up
Education
I dont think Blade would have gone to a school, he'd learn reading, writing and numbers from his elders and other lesson he'd learn on the go, like how to tell time and stuff, i guess it was a home schooling and such.
Other skills he learnt from his time in the military such as map reading and means of survival, combat skills and how to fight with others.
