Silvered Dawn

“Take not any power you would not use to aid thy fellow person; Use not thy power nor position for personal gain; See that all misuse of the arcane be snuffed out; Stand always for the good of the realm.”
Founded in the aftermath of the Mortals' Measure by Ophelia, the Silvered Dawn stand in opposition to the misuse of the arcane and protection from those that would abuse Divination’s powers for self gain. Members of the order are dispatched to courts to advise on the use of magic and to offer divination for counseling. In times of crisis, those with links to the Silvered Dawn may even call upon them to protect them from threats of arcane nature.

Structure

Martially adept members are referred to as Claws of the Silvered Dawn, religiously focused members are referred to as Roar of the Silvered Dawn, Mages are referred to as Eyes of the Silvered Dawn, and supporting members are referred to as Wings of the Silvered Dawn.

Culture

The Silvered Dawn make a point to not get involved in religious affairs unless it's an existential threat to Armea.

Assets

The primary guildhall, the Skybound Agora, is an amphitheater with numerous side halls for discussions and debate, crafted of solid cloud floating above the city of Beaufort in Eregoth. It is accessed by teleportation circle from the Beaufort Grey Tower, and is home to a vast collection of records related to the courts visited by members of the order along with a surplus of spellcrafting components.
