The Silvered Dragon Ophelia
Born a poor tiefling on the streets of Strathmund, entered into indentured servitude for the betterment of her family. At the end of her period of servitude, she did some small-scale adventuring before receiving a vision of Louis de Montluzen speaking of the need for help. After impressing both Louis and Rose with her divination skills they hired her as a part of the Rising Dawn. After saving their captured comrades, she used her magic to become a Silver Dragon and aided her new companions to destroy the corrupt archon Durmaz. Later, she went on to form the Order of the Silvered Dawn.

In both Tiefling and Dragon form, the tip of Ophelia's tail is a tuft of hair similar to a lion's.

Personal history
Ophelia is the first of four children born to Kaliah and Jazron, two tiefling beggars on the streets of Strathmund. The four made the most of their small existence, meager as it was. When her youngest siblings were born, twins, things needed to change, and not long after the event that would change all their lives occurred. On a trip through the town, a merchant named Harold Oswen was almost trampled by a pair of horses that were spooked and took off. Ophelia saved him, because the previous night she'd had a vision of the event before it did. Harold questioned her, and upon learning her gift offered, in exchange for her indentured servitude, to fund her education and give her family a steady home, realizing the value of someone who could see the future. This gambit of his paid off tenfold, as with both her parents and Ophelia being willing, she ended up making him an extremely wealthy man.
After the agreed upon tenure had run its course, Ophelia decided to take her gifts where her visions showed her and do what she could for the betterment of the realm, this experience building the foundation of her goal later in life. On these travels, she received a vision of Lord Louis de Montluzin speaking of his need for people in the Rising Dawn after a tragedy cost them half their number. Believing this to be her calling, she took herself to Beaufort to present herself to him. Upon giving a demonstration by dodging one of his sword strikes without looking, and giving his companion Rose a scarily accurate reading, she was brought into their number. On the raid of the Cultists of Durmaz at Alteria Resort, she was able to help them recover their friends Acel and Janus, the latter of whom she would go on to develop a romance with. After using her expertise in the arcane to turn herself into a dragon, she helped the Rising Dawn kill the corrupt archon Durmaz, delivering the final blow with a well timed Power Word: Kill.
After sharing more adventures with her friends and seeing them through their lives, Ophelia went on to create the Order of the Silvered Dawn, the name an homage to her companions and her having become a silver dragon, leading the organization in the fight against those who would misuse the power of the arcane. In her personal life, Ophelia married fellow member of the Rising Dawn Janus Silverscale and had children with him. She keeps in contact with her descendants as best she can, and always has her wedding ring as a memorial to her time with her beloved.

She stands in staunch opposition to the misuse of the arcane to corrupt and control, believing it to be a force for the betterment of all of Armea. Knowing that Divination in the wrong hands can lead to the ruin of many, she seeks to protect it from being abused and used only for council and advice, not for personal betterment.

Motivation
For the longest time, she only used her abilities as she saw them, believing them to be some way of the universe communicating it’s will to her, but following her time with the Rising Dawn she decided to use them for the good of Armea as a whole.

In addition to being an expert in the arcane, she is an authority on Divination magic, and a competent tarot reader. While having an impressive presence as a dragon, Ophelia isn't exactly the most socially adept due to her odd mannerisms.
Likes & Dislikes
Ophelia enjoys writing, reading, and anything in regards with books. As with any dragon, she has a hoard: the memories she's created. She keeps hundreds of journals on her dealings and events in her life. She also is a fan of wine. However, Ophelia in general dislikes meat.

She has an uncanny sense of people's state of mind. This comes from two fronts, her exceptional insight, and her ability to read minds. Because of this, even though she may not be the most socially skilled, she is one of the most understanding people one could meet.

As mentioned, Ophelia can easily make things awkward in social situations. While over the years she has gotten better, it is sometimes hard for her to distinguish what has and has not happened yet; it is not uncommon for her to refer to someone she has not met as an old friend.

While tough to put into words exactly how it looks, Ophelia will sometimes have a look as if she's gazing far into the distance in the middle of talking. While something that sounds simple to mimic, the look in her eyes is distinct and extremely difficult to replicate.

An official member of the Rising Dawn, as well as someone who is given a room in Castle Beaufort whenever she should require, Ophelia has strong ties to the western coast of Eregoth. As the head of the Silvered Dawn, she is affiliated with all organizations that ally themselves to the cause.

Ophelia married Janus Silverscale and had children with him, and she is still connected with those descendants that wish to know her. Her childrens' children and so forth, are alive, as well as any members of the Rising Dawn's offspring who she ingratiate herself with. Her nieces and nephews as well she keeps in contact with.
