Minos-Bel
God of Livestock, Shepherds, and Agriculture
Lord of the Fields
Minos-Bel (MEEN-os-BEHLL) is a god of nature, especially cultivated land and livestock, and is associated with spring. They are patron of beasts of burden, all animals that have been bred by people for food and resources, and the people who shepherd them. Minos-Bel is known to be disdainful of undomesticated beasts, which occasionally puts them at odds with Tolanjı, Fana-Li, and Kiringal. Queries on the nature of this contention have received the response that they are amenable when the children of these gods are in the service of civilization; such as birds trained to courier, cats that prowl the barn for pests, and dogs that tend the flocks -- but their wild counterparts vex Minos-Bel to no end.
When Minos-Bel is depicted in a humanoid form, which is rare, they are shown as member of whatever race is depicting them, in the trappings of a person who works on a farm. Most, however, know and depict Minos-Bel as a domesticated bull or cow.
Clerics of Minos-Bel, sometimes referred to as Shepherds, have been noted displaying the power of the Domains of Nature, Light, and Forge.
