Headmaster Martin Dimitri Gryle

Headmaster of The Gryle Academy, Martin Gryle has dedicated himself to ensuring new generations of adventurers understand what it takes to survive in the big, big world, and that they have the skills to do so.
Martin comes from a long line of Gryles, though the family is of relatively unremarkable nobility. His father, Dimitri, established the Stillwater academy in the town of the same name on the southwestern coast of Silixis (formerly known as the Undying Pact-Land). When Dimitri was killed in the wars with Norstir, Martin returned to his alma mater, renaming it The Gryle Academy, and forging a new mission for the institution.
Martin is known among his friends and family for his love of seeking and excavating long-lost magical wonders. He has not had much time for this particular passion, but he hopes to be able to return to it eventually.

Physical Description

Apparel & Accessories

Martin most typically is seen wearing white shirts with long sleeves rolled up to just below the the elbows. Over this, he wears a grey vest, normally buttoned up most of the way with the last few undone. A red traveling coat, black slacks and comfortable traveling boots completes his daily ensemble.
For formal events, Martin replaces the red coat with a highly stylized and fancy long coat fashioned in The Gryle Academy colors: Deep black body, silver trim, and large grey lapels on which are stitched the academy crest on one side and the Gryle family crest on the other.
