Enassar Zaphicath

Enassar Zaphicath, Herald of Celestia   This ancient brass dragon was the first of the Brass Dragonflight to settle in Ilora, following many of the celestial warlocks of Eregoth as they fled south in the 9th century alongside Lord Vraskos Keldan. Like most Brass Dragons, he was full of stories and songs from a long life of experiences and would share them at great length for hours. He spent much of his time traveling between the celestial warlocks' towns bearing the Horn of the Celestial Herald, whose notes brought peace and renewed hope as they called the angels from the skies to aid the people.   Enassar Zaphicath was sheltering his daughter, Immyryn Otess Geval, in the Temple of Zaphicath when the World Dragons died and left Armea to lock themselves behind the Time Gates of Abin-jur. At the moment Voarex Zarnur breathed his last, Enassar was instantly transmuted into a brass statue, and there he would remain over Immyryn's egg for nearly 500 years.   Freed by the Dragonwake, Enassar resumed his vigil over the islands he loved and finally met his daughter, teaching her about everything he knew and fighting alongside her against the Ascended Fiends and the Drythlex infestation of Apos. Enassar finally died on Apos, struck down by Malcor Dowd when the latter was challenged to the Akula by Morthos Ramm Blackwell.   Rather than choose to return, Enassar declined resurrection and passed his title and responsibilities on to the new Herald of Celestia, his daughter Immyryn. He was buried in Vespides 1945 in a secret glade along the fertile Zaphari River, with Slonka laid to rest at his feet.
