Wood Elves still draw much of their culture from that of the Feywild, leading to fierce individualism.

History

As with all Elves on Armea, the Wood Elves arrived with the courts of the Feywild in a great invasion of Asala in the early Age of Dreams. Ultimately they were left behind in Armea when their Fey masters withdrew from the Material Plane. The remaining Elves of all types fled to Norstir, where they formed new Summer and Winter Courts, with each blaming the other for their defeat in the War of Asala.
