Epic: After the Tempest

The jagged ice quickly spread through the towns and valleys. The people of Woodside could see it coming and tried to run, but many were wounded by the creeping frost. Valestream was left completely frozen, the ice even covering most of Silverwood.

As the Rover had frozen over, the people in and around Roverdam started to panic, fearing that the frost would come for them as well. Many fled to Mornhaven, along with those already fleeing Woodside, hoping to find safety behind the walls of the capital. Mornhaven was quickly overwhelmed by the massive influx of refugees, most of which also required medical treatment after having come into contact with the frost.

A few days passed, and the crisis was coming under control. Until the news came with the last shipment from Moonspring; "The herbs are gone, production has seized."

The party departs for Oposs, but is quickly attacked by a large sea monster. Their ship is destroyed in battle, but they are able to make their way to a small temple on a sand bank. As they explore the temple, they reveal a large underground complex, featuring far more ancient religious sites. Eventually, some latent guardian within the temple disturbs the dormant volcano it sits upon, and causes the entire complex to flood with magma. As the party attempts to escape, they are met with the sea monster, ramming itself through the entrance of the shrine. They defeat the sea monster, escape the guardian, and continue on to Oposs.
