Technomaniacal Contraption
The Technomancers struggled for a generation of generations to make Technomancy safe. Becoming a proven technology is an imperfect and bloody process.
Technomaniacal contraption is the umbrella term for any of a seemingly infinite number of clever devices powered by technomancy.
Utility
It doesn't take a lot of imagination to come up with ingenous new applications for a power source. Almost overnight, an onslaught of technomaniacal kitchen appliances were born, everything from theeksfur-powered food chillers to theeksfur-powered cooking boxes, to theeksfur-powered choppers and mixers and blenders.
From lighting, to liftcars, to the power cells that keep airships afloat, there isn't much that cannot be handled by the clever design and application of a technomaniacal contrapiton. Powerful devices capable of doing precise mathematics in the blink of an eye. Long-distance communication by audio, or audio and visual.
Manufacturing
All production of new technomaniacal contraptions is done in the Western Empire's factories. However, clever artisans and engineers everywhere have become skilled at repairing and repurposing the parts and pieces from these contraptions, often making them into wholly new inventions.
Technomancy is available everywhere, but it is a cornerstone of Western Empire culture in a way that the Eastern Union shows little interest in matching.
Beyond just the Technoalchemy that goes into making Theeksfur to power the devices, the contraptions themselves are incredibly complex arrays of components and materials.
Theeksfur was first discovered in 1666, and technomancy followed not long after.
