History
Since his birth, Usugo has hated his mother, his sister, and his father. It's the only thing he can feel. Instinctively and at many points during his life, he's had incredible urges to feel love, compassion, and adoration for his mother and siblings. Though this had only sent those feelings to Akari. Deshai is absolutely heartbroken about this fact, and it only fuels their flames of hate for Shiwa. They don't actively attempt to please Usugo, but they make every effort they can to ease their anger and pain. Those who show ill will to his name or his followers often find themselves coming down with grave illnesses or their organs suddenly fail.
Nicknames & Petnames
Deshai tends to refer to Usugo as "my beloved" and other simple pet names when he's not around. In person though, she avoids these and refers to him simply by name as to not flair any disappointment or pain he may feel if he acknowledges how the names don't effect him. Usugo on the other hand only refers to Deshai with the blunt title of "Mother".
Commonalities & Shared Interests
Despite Usugo's reluctance towards his mothers love, their faithful often fall into the same lines of work and interests. The same goes for them. Often in times of famine or war, the two will meet. Deshai will come to oversee the lost souls depart, and Usugo would do the same to revel in the pain and sorrow. These times together of silence and observance are some of the only times Deshai gets to see her son at anything close to peace.
History
Akari has always adored her mother, as she adores everyone. She constantly bombards her mother with affection, gifts, and love. In her time alive, her mother and her have rarely disputed, and as far as she knows her mother loves her as much as she loves her mother. Unconditionally. Though she never shows it, or at least tries not to, Deshai is incredibly resentful of Akari. If she was honest, she would say that she'd always liked Usugo more. She hates how all of the love anyone could ever show Usugo is, in her eyes, stolen by Akari. Akari doesn't annoy her or anything like that. She does love her daughter. It's just complicated from her perspective.
Nicknames & Petnames
While Akari has come to calling Deshai "Mommy" and "Mama", Deshai most commonly refers to Akari as "Little Ako". The same nickname she's held since she was born.
History
Since their creation, Deshai and Liphan have always been incredibly close, and though their holy realms are the furthest apart of any other, Deshai and Liphan always find time to see each other. They often spend time together in places of entertainment. Where the old and sick, and young and growing tend to gather at once. It's often said the two are seen in their material forms at large celebrations, carnivals, or sport-like competitions as they go on what many describe are dates. Their jobs differ incredibly so from one another, and so they value their time spent together as much as they can.
Nicknames & Petnames
The two refer to one another by their divine titles in almost an endeared way. Deshai refers to Liphan as "Queen", and her to him as "King". This is true in some aspects, as the realms of Goldenlight and Silverlight respectively are ruled by them, they've called themselves these names since before the realms were even created.
Relationship Reasoning
Despite their closeness, Deshai and Liphan don't share a genetic family connection. They were created by the same god, at the same time, in the same batch of six. Though the greater gods are referred to as siblings, and they often refer to each other as such, the two have become life partners regardless.
Commonalities & Shared Interests
The two have very different occupations, and very rarely meet in the middle when it comes to pastimes or interests with the exception of one thing. Mortals. They both adore them. Their habits, their lifestyle, their culture. They spend all of their free time at cultural events so they can learn as much as they can. Deshai specifically adores the interesting things created by Liphan, as in the end, when she gets her hands on them, they've all come to ash.
History
Ever since shortly before the birth of Usugo, Deshai has had an incredible and unrelenting hatred for Shiwa. She has tried multiple times to kill her, and has many transcriptions of her word in holy text and practice that describe and treat Shiwa and her followers as dirt and garbage, to be killed without thought or hesitation. Despite her hatred towards her, Shiwa has no issues with her sister. Usugo was necessary, and this hatred is a price that is worth the benefits that come from a balanced pantheon of the gods. Shiwa also does not fear Deshai, as Shiwa has access to all information. Shiwa cannot be caught off guard or out planned. They know of and can plan for every single time Shiwa will attack, how it will go, and what they will need to do to prevent their own death. This confidence, and the rather dismissive demeanor Shiwa gives off towards her, only makes Deshai more angry.
Relationship Reasoning
A few weeks before the twins would be born, Shiwa called Deshai to her holy realm. The Oracle's Archive. When she arrived, she was brought to Shiwa's personal study, and was rather bluntly and flatly told that, Usugo will become a god of negative emotion. Shiwa explained that he would never be able to be happy, and through early years would never stop crying. She believed that it would be important for her to be prepared for that. Deshai though, was absolutely furious and lashed out. Shiwa knew this would happen, and so as she had predicted, just before Deshai succeeded in her attempt to kill her, Liphan arrived. He healed Shiwa, and took Deshai away. To this day, Shiwa is entirely neutral about the situation, and Deshai retains her anger.
