Count Viscardi Reda (a.k.a. The Flesh Broker)

One of the members of the Counts and Countesses of Ailsfall, Viscardi is a human vampire, known for his active role in managing the town. Suave and personable, Viscardi is the least hated of the conclave members.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Like most vampires, Viscardi is in near perfect physical condition. He has a typical pallor complexion for a vampire, with broad shoulders and a well cut frame. Underneath his suit are vanity muscles.

Identifying Characteristics

Viscardi is almost always wearing a suit. Those who aren't familiar would be hard pressed to identify him from other male vampires, as he doesn't even wear his own signet ring without a reason to.

Physical quirks

Viscardi's hands are rarely still. When he talks, he often postures, making simple conversation seem almost like a performance.

Aside from a suit, Viscardi usually has a cane, a wine glass, or a trinket in his hand he toys with idly.

While not as silver-tongued as Countess Akasha, Viscardi is still the most popular of the five conclave members. This is because many of the venues in his district, pulse plaza, are useful to the common man in ailsfall.

Viscardi is a very physical individual. He often weaves in small points of contact during conversation, such as clasping a shoulder, putting his arm around someone as he leads them through town, sealing deals with handshakes, and so forth.

Viscardi's voice is somewhat deep, but carries well. He speaks rather directly, only using metaphors to spice up conversation now and again.

As the only other conclave member who is a 'pure' vampire, Akasha has a comparatively good opinion of Viscardi. Though 'greedy' is one of the first words Akasha would use to describe Viscardi, she respects his pragmatism and ability to cajole the common man.
Viscardi, similarly, respects Akasha's hustle. Akasha is far more preferable than Cant Voz'nek, as far as magical experts go, and so Viscardi sees no reason to antagonize or revile the Blood Queen. Her frequent withdrawals on the blood cache in the city is some what irritating, but she makes up with it with the sheer volume of flesh and bone she deposits in turn.

Viscardi and Voz'nek have little dealings with each other. Viscardi sees Voz'nek's esoteric and eccentric pursuits to be inefficient at best and downright wasteful at worst; their insistence on using beasts over vampire spawn for most tasks is also offputting, in the same way a cat lady is.

Viscardi works with Dru on occasion, though more commonly it's his people working with her people. While her spawn are strange, Viscardi doesn't mind it, and can appreciate the value of them.

As a member of the conclave, Viscardi doubtlessly has an obscene amount of wealth, though specifics are kept private. While each member of the conclave is somehow related to the bank, Viscardi is the most directly involved. There is no social infrastructure to support typical forms of revenue for a bank. However, aggressive loans, 'currency' conversion from flesh to gems, and simply keeping the wealth of those who died won't return are all ways that Viscardi profits.
