Tenets of Faith

The pursuit of knowledge must always be made. Not all knowledge should be shared with the world. Light must be brought into the darkness always. Both the light and knowledge must always be preserved.

Holidays

The 30th day of Yosre and the first day of Nakis is known as the Birth of Knowledge and the Birth of Light. For it is through the gods Yosren and Naki that Knowledge and Light came into being. During the Birth of Knowledge, worshipers of Welfel, will gift books to loved ones and spend the day reading a new book. During the Birth of Light, worshipers of Welfel will gift loved ones a candle or another source of light, magical or mundane. People also will light candles in shrines or churches to Welfel and meditate upon the gift of light in a silent prayer of gratitude.
