Red Stone Palace

The Great Academy of Yaalk is housed in the Red Stone Palace, an immense building many times finer than any other in Aqmiah, even the governor's manse.
Covering more than a square mile, the Red Stone Palace (more often simply called the Academy), houses writings and curios from all over the world. Precious stones, supposed to have been sources of magic in ancient times, rest along instruments and treasures from fallen kingdoms. At the center of the palace is the Red Spire, where most of the senior scholars are kept (as well, supposedly, as the greatest secrets).
