Hlymerin
Hlymerin is called the ancestral home of the Khephu. Unlike the varied other ancient peoples of the region, the Khephu are largely considered to be mythical. Supposedly, their seers predicted the Mornal Invasion and sailed north beyond the Ghastly Veil, into the Starlands, where they live eternally. Some suspect the Khephu might be the ancestors of the people of the Isle of Belth, directly north of Hylmerin, though the Belthi have no similar legends of their own.
Hylmerin is a small town, mostly self-sufficient. They live off fish from the River Zorush and various game from the Great Forest of Orvoron to the east. There is a small coterie of woodcarvers if the town, though, who sell their crafts to Carrelasas to the south.
