One of the two primary visrite mines in the Alqai Hills, the northwestern-most region of the Holy Qhaganate of Zalja. Most often called the Stone Mine, Golhasa is the nation's primary source of Lesser and Greater Stone, also called Deep Salt and Bone Gems. This makes Golhasa the most valuable mine in all of the Qhaganate, as it is Deep Salt that keeps the land so fertile.
There are many old tales of ghosts and evil spirits haunting Golhasa, yet many prefer to work here rather than the Fire Mine, whose inhumane conditions have led to frequent revolts.
