Dragons

Known also as Great Wyrms. These enormous creatures live under the earth and have often been blamed for earthquakes, though mostly in myth and the backwater superstitions of small villages. Dragons are incredibly rare. Like most creatures we might classify as monsters, most live in or around the Great Mountains: the Shadowgates and the Orvyx Mountain Range. Once they emerge from beneath the ground, none have been known to return. This has left many to suppose that dragons lay their eggs beneath the earth, leaving them to hatch and grow until they are strong enough to emerge. In truth, though, little and less is known about dragons.
