Bitter Sea
The sea separating the great eastern continent of Kynaj from the great western continent of Olveiria. Also called the Bittersweet, the Bitter Sea was likely named for its salt, though legend say it was named for the bitter tears of the Yenai pilgrims who crossed the Bariad Straight to reach Olveiria.
