Fourth son and sixth child of Lord Balor Beth and Lady Oridwyn Odon.
Arthor is one of five brothers that grew to adulthood, and is largely overshadowed by the other four. In his youth, though, he was called Arthor Deadhand, after supposedly killing another boy with a single punch while training in the yards. As an adult, he would serve as Mox Master to his elder brother Lord Nodraigh. It is widely accepted that Arthor betrayed his brother Nodraigh to the Wulks toward the end of the Fools War, as shortly after Nodraigh's death he fled west to Starton, where he lived until dying of a burst heart at three-and-forty. Because of this infamy, it is often suggested that Arthor may have betrayed his brother Lord Valoron in some way when he was at war with Nodraigh, or even that he betrayed his father Balor Beth in the early days of the War of East and West. Exactly what these betrayals were is rarely clarified.
