Rise of the Temperentian Empire

Soon after the islands were risen from the sky by the various gods, one island known as Temperentia began to advance quickly under its first empress, Miahana Syltoris. Syltoris was named empress after she banded the many different kingdoms of Temperentia into one unified power, the Temperentian Empire. The empress then lead her people in enslaving the white dragons found in the frigid peaks of the high mountains on Temperentia. These dragons were used as transport and granted the Empire easy access to all the other islands risen by the gods. They swiftly began to dominate all the islands and soon controlled all of the Arcus Ocean. This rule lasted for many decades.

Fall of the Temperentian Empire

It is said that one day, the voice of Oghma boomed and condemned the Temperentian Empire for it's takeover of the Ocean. The War of Oghma soon followed and forced the Empire to limit its reach on the islands, resulting in its possesion of only one island, Temperentia. While the Empire was not destroyed, it had become greatly weakened.

Military Rise

After the creation and expansion of the Lycian Kingdom, Temperentia once again began to gain power. It soon gained power over Delbryn, Camcoln, Brigid, and Forested. This incited the War of Terror. As a boost to military power, the Empire created the warforged in Brigid. They also began enslaving stronger and stronger dragons until they eventually created the Draco Bomber, a red dragon modified to be a warship. The Draco Bombers had the power to level a city to the ground in one breath. This lead to a treaty between the Lycian Kingdom and the Temperentian Empire.

Current Day Temperentian Empire

After the war, Temperentia was required by the Pantheon of Sagas to relinquish control of Forested toward the organization of the newly created Agrinad Alliance. This left the Empire in control of Delbryn (renamed to Thieves Hollow), Camcoln, Brigid, and Temperentia. This has not changed since then.

Government Structure

The government consists of the current Emperor whom is decided by birthright and a council. The council members are selected from the different islands under the Empire's control as well as from each Kingdom within Temperentia which have since been changed to States. This method keep loyalty among the islands and let the separate islands provide a voice in the Empire. Each island also has its own leader from the Empire that is selected by the Emperor and the council. The leader is generally selected from the residents within the island and watched over by that islands representative on the council.
