Jalandyl (a.k.a. Jalandyl o' Stars)
Jalandyl o' Stars is a dancer at the Drunken Lion and rumored by many to be the actual secret owner of the tavern; Jalandyl is rumored to be many things that are both more and less flattering than that. What is clear is that the muscular, middle aged, half elf and the dwarven alemaster Meerkan tolerate each other, but do not have a friendly relationship as evidenced by their constant trading of not very good natured barbs, yet somehow she always comes to the defense of the dwarf and his establishment when trouble comes knocking.
Jalandyl gets her nickname from her virtually unerring accuracy with thrown mugs, plats, flagons, and etc. which has left many a badly behaved patron lying unconscious on the floor and seeing stars in their heads after a good strongly launched drinking implement or two. The only thing more responsible for customer injury at the Drunken Lion are the potentially teeth breaking barley biscuits sold to customers who are drunk or hungry enough to risk eating one.
