The Great Orc Wars

The City of Vell undertook a series of wars over a 500 year timetable to destroy or remove the Orcs from the North of the The Great Plain, and the areas adjacent to it. Contested above and below ground from the Dresen area to the far north where the great Orc Home is, these wars were initially seemingly successful. However, over time they became less successful, and continued to cost money and blood to pursue.
The leaders of Vell spending time in their headquarters at the Temple of Martius were blinded to the costs by the Gate of War. This lead to the continuous escalation. Eventually the War leaders relocated to Dresen. After that time the Wars took a turn for the worse. This opened the door for others to join with the Orcs to take on Vell. Soon more and more peoples of Arcanalia joined them. This lead to a force capabile of invading Vell. This then became the Wars of Chaos.
