Temple of Martius

This Temple was at the heart of the City of Vell. It was built around the Gate of War, one of the Three Gates. This temple was dedicated to Martius the Vellish God of War.
The Council of Marshals was seated here, and from this hill directed the many wars of Vell. The Legions of Vell carried it's banners before them into battle. This was a source of great power, and tipped many a battle in Vell's favor.
It was destroyed when Rolen and his company negated the gate. Today it has been replaced by a small and sible structure guarded by the Acolytes of Volga.
