Giants

The first beings the magic brought forth in Arcanalia that survived were the Giants. These great creatures were able to live in the harsh and ever changing lands. The first of these was simply named Og once he got around to coming up with a language. He didn't speak for a long time since he had no one to speak to. After he'd learned he could direct the sounds he made from his throat and mouth just as he could control the rocks he hurled at the beasts he wanted to eat, he became very lonely. One night he dreamed of a fair Giantess that he could partner with as the beasts of the field did. The magic constantly plying him caught his dream and made it happen. After a week of this dream he woke one morning to find his dream was there with him. Eventually he called himself Og and his wife became Zog. These names are the root of Father and Mother in all the Giantish tongues. They had 5 sons and 5 daughters.
