Aklana

Aklana was the leader of the Druids of Rem who were active around the GATE OF KNOWLEDGE on the banks of the RIVER GAR. There she had constructed a temple to the Earth Mother whose worship she lead. This is known as the Temple of Aklana
When The Vell arrived. She at first welcomed the refugee Elves, but as she became aware of their desire to dominate, and control the area she opposed them.
First she attempted to get them to move on. However, they were fully aware of the great power of the Three Gates, and were determined to have this land.
As the Elves began trying to drive the Vell Orcs away from their homes Aklana took a leading role in the defense. Her efforts kept the Orcs from simply being routed by the well armed warriors of the Elves. Through a long fight she rallied her peoples many times. In the end the Orcs lost the lands on the East bank of the Gar, and had to relocate to the lands to the West around Aklana's Temple.
