Vell Orcs

These Orcs had been the first inhabitants of the area where the City of Vell would grow. Originally living in three settlements each with it's own specific mark of excellence. One village produced the greatest warriors. another the greatest in holding the Druidic traditions and knowledge, and the last village held great powers of dealing with the dead.
These peaceful peoples were overwhelmed by The Vell (an Elvish tribe) fleeing a plot against them.
During the centuries of Elvish rule these people were called Half-Orcs, although they called themsleves the Rem, with the implication that Elvish or even Human blood was the cause of their enlightenment and civilized behavior. They were pushed across the Great River, and could live there in the shadow of Vell. They accepted this and lived in peace until even the Great River could no longer contain those flocking to Vell. They soon found their fields and villages swamped with those that became Overwater, when they couldn't gain entry to Vell.
