Wila Goldfoot

Wila, the leader of The Iron Hands, is a complex and enigmatic figure. Despite her remarkable talent for creating exquisite pieces of art the Artifex, Wila's eccentric and paranoid nature has left many of her followers in the dark about her true intentions.   Her obsession with beauty and aesthetics has fueled a creative renaissance, resulting in some of the most stunning creations to date. However, this passion for beauty often comes at the expense of practicality and functionality, leaving some to question the true value of her creations.   Beyond her love of art, Wila harbors a deep-seated desire to destroy her own brother and seize control of the Goldfoot family for herself. This ruthless pursuit of power has led some to question her motives, and many fear the consequences if she were to succeed in her quest for dominance.   Despite her flaws, there is no denying the allure of Wila's unique vision and creative talents. Her ability to see beauty in even the most mundane objects is truly remarkable, and her unwavering dedication to her craft is an inspiration to all who follow her.
"Beauty is not just in the eye of the beholder, but in the hands of the creator. And my hands create the most beautiful things in this world."

Appearance

Wila, the Korrigan leader of The Iron Hands, stands at a mere 3'6" tall. Her small stature is deceiving, however, as her presence commands attention in any room she enters. She has wild, blonde, curly hair that is always adorned with ornate hairpins and other baubles that catch the light.   Despite her love of beauty and aesthetics, Wila's attire is often practical and utilitarian. She wears a well-worn leather jacket and a corset that accentuates her small waist. Her trousers are made of a sturdy material that can withstand the rigors of her work with the Artifex, and she wears a pair of polished boots with brass buckles that gleam in the light.   Her hands are her most striking feature, as they are always covered in paint, grease, or other materials associated with her work as an artist and inventor. Despite this, her hands are delicate and nimble, able to create intricate works of art with ease.   Overall, Wila is a striking figure, both for her small stature and her unique sense of style.

Personality

Wila is the classic obsessed artist constantly attempting to better herself and her creations always seeking the next plateau to climb to in pursuit of more elaborate and exquisite artistic pieces. Her obsession can lead her into blind spots and often she can forget to include things that might be needed in the pursuit of beauty and art. Beyond this obsession though is a cruelty that few could match her view on her workers is that they are mere tools for her that their existance is only worth something if they are producing for her.

Background

Wila comes from the prestigious Goldfoot family, one of a pair of twins and along with her brother Wenret they have split the family fortune between them leading to a schism in the rest of the family and it's retainers.

Early Life

Wila being born into the Goldfoots was born into privilege though even at the earliest of her youth there were questions being asked about who would inherit the vast wealth and fortune of the Goldfoots. At this time though Wila got along beautifully with her brother and from all accounts the pair were inseparable and quite a force to be reckoned with. She being the artist of the two would design and create to her hearts content while Wenret helped to bring these desgins to life while adding enough practicality to make them truly spectacular works.

Adolsence

It was in their formative years though that things changed and rumors abound about what may have caused it. The most prevelant of which is a lover that came between the two and divided their attentions ultimately spurning them both and driving a wedge between them. How true this is is anyone's guess though it is a fact that the pair were never again seen in public together.

Death of a Matriarch

Before her passing Roseni Goldfoot had declared that the two businesses that the Goldfoots operated should be split between the twins and when she finally passed full control of both passed to the twins and Wila set about making her mark upon the Iron Hands. She threw herself into her work and began churning out more and more elaborate designs for the Artifex perhaps this was her way of mourning but the results were beautiful, intricate and stunning if a bit impractical.   Darker rumors persist though of attempts on Wenrets life and vice versa the two's seething hostility was threatening to boil over into outright war now that the shackles of their mother had been removed, only time will tell if things can return to a seethe.
