Session 7: The Bagman Report

General Summary

The party is relaxing after their harrowing journey through the land of faery, and welcome the harvest season in. Surprisingly the group is ready and willing visit the traditional 100 Fields Festival, which is not to unlike the carnival they had only recently encountered. Similar to before they enjoy a relaxing night of games, drinking, puzzles, and such until the local town herald arrives with bad news.
Apparently the local Wizard's Hat store owner has disappeared and no one knows what happened. The group investigates the situation only to discover that some strange boots where left beside the shop owner's bag of holding. After some time of investigation the group decides to settle in for the evening and accept a dinner invitation from Mason's wife, Amelia.
Yet again, the group recieves another suprise when, during the dinner, Amelia disappears after having excused herself from the table. A short investigation leads the group to find Amelia's bag of holding along with another strange trinket, this one is a necklace that didn't belong to her or Mason.
The group discovers a strange portal in her closet and uses it to enter another realm... Again!
The party of adventurers first discover a room which is very dark, and any light, even magical gets snuffed out. They did not remain in this room long before moving to the next room and finding a very bright room with a statue in the middle of a Hadozee. In the last room Skree was blinded but in this room she was able to get her sight back, but received a "monkey paw" tattoo on her arm in the process.
The next room was locked, but the group managed to break the door down where they found minotaur eating steak and drinking mead. The food and drink seemed to replenish as quickly as it was consumed.
They eventually found the shop owner who appeared to have been tortured and was becoming a Bagman. The group was to late to save him, unfortunately. They eventaully were able to track down the bagman that took Amelia, save Amelia and made their way back to their normal world, but not without first having a short trip to a realm called Halloween Town where they met a strange individual named the Pumpkin King.
