Eien

Eien is the capital of Ayarara in the far southeast of Aquevaia. Known to commoners as the City in the Clouds, it is a wonder of magical engineering and a center of alchemical research.

Demographics

As the world leader in alchemical and magical research, Eien attracts many different races to the city. The majority of the population is kenku, with large human, halfling, tiefling, and elf minorities.

Government

The city is governed by the Master Mechanic, selected by the Lord Professor every six years. The Master Mechanic answers to the Lord Professor but has total control over everyday affairs in Eien. The various ministries that oversee all aspects of governance report to the Master Mechanic.
