Ard Shagat
The Ard Shagat is the leader of the Order of the Flaring Sun and resides in Cathair Neimh. Along with the Ard Manach, she is one of the advisors to the Ard Righ and one of the most powerful women in the Dolan Theocracy.
Unlike the other Orders, the Ard Shagat is chosen after the death or resignation of the previous Ard Shagat by a trial of merit. The trial is an intense, Order-wide affair. Every senior disciple must participate and the last disciple to complete the five tasks becomes the Ard Shagat. The current Ard Shagat is the 6th of her name.
