Ard Manach

The Ard Manach is the leader of the Order of Tears, headquartered at The Weeping Monastery, one of the most influential monastic orders in the Dolan Theocracy. Together with the Ard Shagart, the Ard Manach is the second advisor to Ard Righ and holds significant political and spiritual power.
The current Ard Manach, 13th to hold the title, resides in Cathair Neimh rather than the Monastery, a departure from tradition that has some in the Order of Tears uneasy.
