Starfarer Rebellion, Liberation

A group of people formed that decided they were tired of being stuck on a reserve, being looked down on, and wanted to leave Avalon, to travel the Universe. They called themselves the Avalon Liberation Front . They started planning how they could leave, recruited more people, and resources.

Knowing they had like-minded people on the moon, they started slowly building ships in out-of-the-way places, gathering supplies, and knowledge. This took many years, most of the time was in developing their new ship designs, and other technology.

Moving people from one place to another without discovery was another problem. Eventually, they were ready to begin the rebellion.

Conflict

Oddly, they were able to leave with only token resistance. A few people were captured or injured, but the majority got away scot-free.

Some of the supplies, and technology were not able to be procured. It almost seemed like they were let go, maybe the Aetherians decided they were better gone.

So the Diaspora Begins

At first, they only traveled to a planet a few star systems away; and settled down. They began to perfect their various ships and raise crops, cattle, etc. Spreading throughout the system. When it got too crowded, they traveled further. Some stayed behind everywhere they stopped.

Trading hubs were created, never settling too near the Aetherians, finding trading partners along the way.
