RumbleThump Pie

Written by Pookas Kreations

This is a comfort food of the Gnome, it is a favorite food of craftsmen, laborers, and miners. There are many variations of this pie, but the basic one is made from cabbage and potato. Meat cheese, other vegetables, and sometimes gravy.

They are sold warm so they can be eaten on the go and sold in bakeries, cafes, and pubs. This is one of the first dishes that young gnomes whether male or female learn to make so they can feed themselves. These pies once, once cool, can be kept for days. They can be eaten cold or reheated.

Depending on the crust that is made, it can be baked, steamed, or boiled. It can be a hand pie, a dumpling, or a pierogi-like dish. To give the crust a golden crust, a wash of egg yolk, butter or cheese can be added.

History

No one knows who first created this hand pie, but it has become a staple of the gnomish people.

The name alone deserved a like, but... put enough cabbage in there and the name could well be appropriate! Great work!
