Luminaform Symbiote

This symbiote was created by Thalor Brightwood, a Biomancer and Bio Technician. He created this genetic adaptation to help the Avalonian, Indigene people's children survive the cosmic radiation spike and the severe famine that resulted from it.  
His DNA treatment with the symbiote--a bio-engineered organism capable of processing cosmic radiation and converting it into a usable energy source for the Avalonians. It allowed them to survive the harsh conditions but also provided them with a new way to sustain themselves. The children were inoculated gradually with this treatment as an infant. The treatment included:

• Genetic Adaptation: modifying the DNA to accept and integrate the luminaform symbiote.
• Symbiote integration: ensuring the symbiote can seamlessly bond with its host, providing enhanced resilience and energy conversion capabilities (photosynthesis).
• Radiation Conversion: enabling the symbiote to process comic radiation into nutrients, effectively replacing corrupted food source.

Some of the children couldn't bond completely or not at all with the symbiote, that's why some Avalonian, Indigene, Starfarer are called Throwbacks by the Aetherians.

• Photosynthesis: the host no longer requires regular food if exposed to sunlight for at least 2 hours per day.
• Radiation Absorption: the host can safely metabolize radiation, converting it into usable energy. The host gains a +4 bonus on saving throws against effects.
• Increased Resilience: the host gains a +2 bonus on Fortitude saves and a +1 natural armor bonus.
