Auroch'n

The Auroch'n are a tribe from a race called the Aeonian , that Ascended eons ago. They are from the planet Aeon, for centuries their race as a whole had been working toward enlightenment and Nirvana. They had banished disease, greed, and crime over the years; the last thing that they were working on was empathy, peace, harmony, and halting aging.

They finally met all their goals and as a whole ascended. The only problem was that they had no more drive to do anything new, had no need to. With ascension came power, many became like gods to those not ascended. They became beings of pure energy, although they can take physical form whenever they wished. Some decided to start some hobbies, like creating planets, sculpting meteors, planets, and even suns. Others decided to act like gods to younger races, that hadn't yet ascended. The Auroch'n don't consider themselves gods, but craftsmen and teachers.

In their ascended form Auroch'n are creatures of energy. Although, they often appear as humanoids or animals.

Auroch'n can take any form that they want, they can become any animal or race that they choose and "be" them for as long as needed. They often used this ability to create new races, or species and to alter them from the contact.

Any, because of their ascension they have no need to eat, breathe or sleep, they absorb what is needed from the Universe. Although, a few eat for the pleasure of it and to fit in when they wish to walk with the lesser beings.

Facial characteristics

They have long, narrow skulls with a large braincase, large slanted eyes, slightly pointed ears, an aquiline nose, narrow mouth, and chin. Both males and females have long billowing hair, sometimes worn in elaborate hairstyles or under large headdresses (to hide their large heads).

Before they ascended they were a dynamic culture that had reached the spacefaring age. They are now a stagnant culture, with almost unlimited power, similar to a Q.

Their language is Aeoni, but they can speak any language that they wish, even that of plants and animals.

Auroch'n are very polite and honorable people.

History

The Auroch'n became bored after centuries of Nirvana, they decided that they wanted to leave. Innana decided that she wanted to create a planet, so she made Aquatica's solar system, and her husband, Var'dryk and the elder children made the other planets and the binary Suns while she lovingly crafted Aquatica. She even gave the planet sentience, to help in the evolution of the creatures placed on her.

The younger Auroch'n children were born on Aquatica and helped sculpt her and the creatures placed on her. This is one reason for the "weird" natural laws that are in use here.

The Auroch'n are often called the Star People or Travelers from the Stars. They have never claimed that they were gods, to their mind they are just more evolve and powerful than the younger races. They are ascended native outsiders.

They were mortal before they ascended and became as gods. Auroch'n are neutral as a whole, but every individual is different. They live in select locations on this plane.
