Cyr Brightoak
Prince Cyr Brightoak (a.k.a. Cyr The Older)
Second son of King Noa II and brother to King Noa III. Named for the first king of the Brightoak line, Cyr was born with the gift of anti-magic and thus developed a natural resistance to magical effects. Stout-hearted, curious, and cunning Cyr knew the life of a Prince was not the path he wanted to follow and very early in life began training with swords. His skill grew so great his father chose to bestow the sword Lightbringer, the Hex Eater Blade, sword of King Cyr I onto Cyr. Cyr has become a champion for his brother and is often dispatched to quell any strong magical force that could pose a great threat to the kingdom. He leads the Inquisitorius of Argon as Grand Inquisitor. Cyr has become good friends with Francis Landberht Gareaux, whom he has named High Inquisitor of Galdor.
