Baari “Chucklechief” Vornax was a Copper Dragonborn noble. As the Current High Jester of Curprum, he holds the longest unbroken record for “Prank King,” with 73 successful pranks on visiting dignitaries, including turning a Dwarven ambassador’s beard into living Snakes (they were harmless, but still hissed during diplomacy). While funny, the incident nearly caused a war with the Hill Dwarves.
Baari's jovial attitude made him a popular leader amongst the people of Curprum, but less so in the eyes of his advisors and rivals, who view him as immature and boorish. However, they know that any move made against him would automatically turn the people against them, so they put up with his games.
