The Pelissier People
The Pelissier are a minority within the human population of the Federation of Vay, and their culture is virtually extinct outside of the Federation. Once widespread in Sarland, the Pelissier were driven out by the wars between the Sarlani and the Elasi when both sides turned against the Pelissier people out of superstition. Now, they maintain a presence in the Federation separate from but complicit in the cutthroat meritocratic culture of the majority Dimira and Zaimaris folk. The small Vayan Pelissier population dwell mostly in manor societies dotted throughout the country.
