The Aotran Genasi Variant

For player characters in Aotra, the following variant genasi is available as a playable race to better reflect the abilities of Aotran genasi. In Aotra, genasi are a diverse and relatively-common variety of Otherborn descended from humans, elves, or orcs.

They live somewhat shorter lives than most folk of their ancestry, with human-descent genasi having life expectancy of around 65 years. Elvish-descended genasi typically live for around 450 years, and genasi of orcish descent typically live for roughly 40 years.

Language.

Subrace.
Four subraces of genasi exist: air, earth, fire, and water genasi. Choose one of these subraces.

Air Genasi

Gentle Drift. When you fall, your fall is slowed as if by the feather fall spell. You take no damage from falling.
Mutable Form. You can take on an airy form for a number of minutes equal to your proficiency bonus. While in this form, you can pass through small holes, narrow openings, and even cracks, though your movement treats liquids as though they were solid surfaces. Once you use this ability, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
Wind Weaver. You know the druidcraft cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the spell fog cloud once with this trait, and you regain the ability to cast it this way when you finish a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the spell levitate once with this trait, and you regain the ability to cast it this way when you finish a long rest. You can also cast these spells with any spell slots you have. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells (your choice).

Earth Genasi

Earth Walk. You can move across difficult terrain made of earth or stone without expending extra movement.
Natural Armor. Your skin is stonelike and tough. When you aren’t wearing armor, your AC is 13 + your Dexterity modifier. You can use your natural armor to determine your AC if the armor you wear would leave you with a lower AC. A shield’s benefits apply as normal while you use your natural armor.
Stone Soul. You know the druidcraft cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the spell entangle once with this trait, and you regain the ability to cast it this way when you finish a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the spell spike growth once with this trait, and you regain the ability to cast it this way when you finish a long rest. You can also cast these spells with any spell slots you have. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells (your choice).

Reach to the Blaze. You know the druidcraft cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the spell burning hands once with this trait as a 1st-level spell, and you regain the ability to cast it this way when you finish a long rest.
