Minotaurs
The minotaurs of Anthranon are vastly different from those that are found in the monster manual. They aren't labyrinth wandering monsters but rather a proud people of the world. Use the minotaur stats from the Waterborne Adventures Unearthed Arcana. In Anthranon, minotaurs are the native inhabitants of the Darkstone Islands. Now almost all of the minotaurs are part of The Sumarrian empire.

The Arnaffle Group is an alliance of tribes that never submitted to the Sumarrian Empire, or left it after Sumarr's death. The islands and tribes were eventually re-integrated but there are those who still dissent. They roam the seas in a fleet of ships unbeholden to the empire. The Arnaffle Group is seen as traitors and terrorists by most in the sumarrian empire. The group is named after Arnaffle, the first leader's goat. When Arnaffle's rider fell from his saddle, Arnaffle kicked his opponent, killing him. This battle resulted in the group taking over an island for a few months before being kicked off again.

Genetics and Reproduction
They have reproductive cycles similar to humans. They can and do often mate with humans. The child either comes out minotaur or human. When two minotaurs have a child that child is always, regardless of human ancestry, a minotaur, when two humans mate the child is human, when a minotaur and a human have a child there is a 50% chance for it to be a minotaur.
Growth Rate & Stages
Minotaurs grow faster than most humans but reach physical and mental maturity at around the same time. In other words they stop growing at the same time but will almost always end up larger than their human counterparts.
Civilization and Culture
History
The minotaurs have inhabited the Darkstone Islands for as long as anyone can remember. They were sailors and navigators, and once upon a time they were pillagers and pirates. This was until Sumarr came with his pilgrims and conquered the Darkstone Islands to form the Sumarrian Empire. Combining his affinity for dragons with the militaristic minotaurs and the untapped resources of the islands, Sumarr formed what the minotaurs believe to be the greatest civilization that is or ever will be.
