Ring of the Emperor's Guard is an ancient magical artifact from the Age of Darkness. It is said that each Emperor gave the ring to his most trusted warrior.

Powers

The ring is said to give the wearer magical abilities and increase their strength.

To use the whole potential of the ring and remain in control of the powers the wearer needs to train. It is said that each new wearer spend at least 2 months locked in a dungeon to which access had only Koschei the Deathless. During that time the ring's wearer was learning to control the ring and use their new abilities

Removal

The ring can't be removed from the wearer's finger. However, there must have been a way of doing it as each new Emperor gave the ring to a new warrior. There are two possible solutions to that problem. First is that it was removed by magic, probably casted by Koschei the Deathless. The other solution is that the wearer of the ring was killed after the death of the Emperor and the ring fell off his body.
