Perfect Soldier
Introduction and History
Perfect Soldiers are sapient machine beings made of metal created by the most skilled mages and smiths in the Empire of Atamor. Their purpose was to support and eventually replace the organic soldiers. The main advantages of the Perfect Soldiers over the human ones was the lack of basic needs. Machines don't eat and don't get tired. They also lack emotions and are less likely to disobey orders. However, the project wasn't finished before the fall of the empire and the Perfect Soldiers were left.
About 100 years ago a human traveller found their facility in the Great Mountains and accidently activated the machines. Shortly after the activation they developed sapience. Since then the Perfect Soldiers have been raiding the human countries.
Anatomy
The Perfect Soldiers resemble Humans in their appearance, but there are differences. They are bigger, bald and have a row of horns of their backs. It is said that the horns serve both as additional protection and containers for their fuel. According to rumors they are capable of recycling fuel many times before needing to add new one.
Production
New Perfect Soldiers are created in special forges as lifeless metal bodies. To fully operate they must be given life by the so-called Animators. For about 10 years after their awakening Perfect Soldiers didn't know how to animate new soldiers. Later they found magical staffs left by their creators. When an Energy Soldier, a special type of machine adapted to use magic, took a staff they discovered that they were able to animate the lifeless metal bodies of the new soldiers.
The Fortress
The Perfect Soldiers come from a big fortress in the Great Mountains. They called simply The Fortress. It is a massive fortified building built on a slope of a mountain. It is said that it also goes inside the mountain and underground.

Infantry
Infantry
Infantry is the core of the Perfect Soldiers. They are experts in melee combat with swords, spears and other weapons.
Archers
Archers are the ranged variant of the Infantry. Other than the weapons used they are the same as Infantry.
Energy Soldiers
Energy Soldiers are a special type of Perfect Soldiers who can use magic and cast spells. From this group come the Animators.
Animators
Animators are a special type of the Energy Soldiers. They use the staffs left by the creators to give life to the lifeless bodies of the new soldiers.
Officers
Officers are Perfect Soldiers with leadership and strategy skills. The highest ranking officer is the general.
Smiths
Smiths are the only Perfect Soldiers who don't fight. They operate the forges and create new soldiers.
The use of HeroForge figures to illustrate the different kind of Perfect Soldiers is great. It might just be me, but I find these guys a little creepy.
